Zsófia Káplár MNCPS (Acc) at Wisdom Therapy and Coaching - featured in The Stylist, and Huffington Post

Hi, I'm Zsófia.
I grew up in Budapest, Hungary but spent most of my adult life in London and Edinburgh. My own experiences of trauma gave me deep awareness, compassion and resilience. Transforming pain and experience is possible - especially with professional support.
My toolkit include: my core training of Psychodynamic and Person-centred, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Self-Compassion and Somatic Integration skills.
A strong therapeutic relationship can be transformative. I sit in your corner, deeply listening to you with warmth and compassion. My approach is biopsychosocial, which is a more holistic way of looking at where you are and why. Insight is as important as helping symptoms for creating lasting change.
I encourage you to improve the most important relationship in your life - the one with yourself. By learning how to treat yourself in less self-critical ways, you will be better equipped to build and maintain healthy and fulfilling relationships with others, too.
I'm here to help audit and tweak what is not working for you. Through a lens of expert and non-judgemental understanding, and specific areas to work on, change is possible. Even if progress can feel bumpy - keep going!
My brand name references my name -Zsófia- with its Greek original meaning of wisdom.
Not sure how to pronounce it when you get in touch? It's ok. Try saying Zsófia as "ZHO-fee-uh", with the "Zs" sounding like the "s" in "treasure" and the "ó" like a long "o". There are many variations, and I like them all!
Working with me means that I will use my own hard-earned gift of my own wisdom to help you hear, develop and rely on your own.
I can work with you online internationally, or in-person in Edinburgh.
